How does an In-Home massage work?
Sensia Santé Mobile Massage makes it so simple to enjoy a professional massage in the comfort of your own home. We provide our clients with the largest choice of massage styles to choose from and all our therapists are experts in the field.
STEP 1: Start by clicking the "Reserve online" button. Then choose the type of massage that you want and the duration. You will be able to choose your therapist by first name among those that are available and qualified for the style of massage that you chose.
STEP 2: Select the date and time that you would like to have your massage.
STEP 3: Provide us with your contact info so that your therapist knows where to go and then click "Reserve". Thats it! Now sit back and relax...W'ell do the rest.
You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details of your reservation and a reminder email 24 hours before your appointment.
How long in advance do I need to reserve my massage?
We can have a certified massage therapist arrive at your home or workplace in as little as one hour from when you call us or reserve online .
What do I need to prepare in advance?
At your appointment time, a professional massage therapist will arrive at your door with their massage table, fresh linens, lotions, oils, and music to ensure a relaxing massage. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your in-home massage.
How much space do I need?
All you need for one massage table is space of about 4 x10 feet or more. Ideally with easy access to a bathroom and access to an electrical plug if possible.
Are there any other fees to pay besides your prices?
There are absolutely no travel fees for clients who live in the Greater Montreal region. We do have many clients that are outside this region and if that's also your case, we will gladly travel to you as well. However, extra travel fees of a minimum of 10$ will apply. Our prices include all applicable taxes. If our massage therapist is unable to find free parking, or none is available in your area, you will be expected to reimburse the therapist for any parking costs incurred.
Do I tip my massage therapist?
All tips go directly to the massage therapist that served you and are always appreciated but are not obligatory in any way.
What certifications do your therapists have?
Sensia Santé offers our clients a wide range of massage therapy styles such as Swedish, Therapeutic and relaxation, Californian, Lomi Lomi, Sports and Prenatal massage. All our therapists are experts in their field and have various certifications and specializations. All of our therapists have graduated from respected schools and are members of professional associations. They're passionate about helping people achieve their therapeutic goals. Whether it be less pain or less stress in their lives.
How do I pick a therapist?
Upon reserving your massage, depending on the type of massage and the time that you select, you will be matched to the therapist with the proper certifications for the style of massage that you chose. If reserving online you will see the first names of available therapists. After you complete your online reservation you will receive a confirmation email with all the details including the therapists name that will be coming.
Can I rebook with the same therapist?
Yes, absolutely! You can request to rebook with that same therapist by telephone, online reservation or our Sensia Santé app on your smart phone.
Can I book a massage directly with a therapist instead of through Sensia Santé?
Our therapists are under contract with Sensia Santé and have signed agreements. They're legally and ethically obliged to direct all future reservations through Sensia Santé. We're proud of the quality service that we provide to all our clients and we also take great pride in knowing that we're helping great massage therapists succeed in their careers. We thank you for doing your part to keep our friendly eco-system intact
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay cash or use any major credit card to pay for your massage.
When do I pay for my massage?
No deposit or payment is required of you when making a reservation. You only pay the therapist after your massage.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can postpone or cancel your appointment up to 12 hours before your scheduled massage time at no cost. However, fees will be charged to you if you reschedule or cancel your appointment within less than 12 hours.
RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS: Reschedule appointment: If you reschedule your appointment with less than 12 hours notice for a new date within 2 weeks, there is no fee to pay. However, you will be charged a fee of 15$ if your new appointment date is further than 2 weeks.
CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel your appointment, with less than 12 hours notice, you will be charged a fee of $ 35.00.
***The reason we must charge these fees is because when you postpone or cancel your appoinment at the last minute, this does not allow us sufficient time to potentially rebook the massage therapist with another client.This causes the massage therapist to lose potential income.
How much clothing should I remove?
You may undress to your level of comfort. You can choose to leave on undergarments or If you feel more comfortable nude, you may undress completely and position your body under the sheet. Therapists are trained to properly drape your body so you can relax knowing that you are being treated by a professional.
Can I claim my massage on my insurance?
All our therapists are members of respected professional associations. Therefore, upon request they will issue you a receipt so that you may make claim for reimbursement with your insurance. Please note that only the person who received a massage can ask for a receipt for insurance purposes.
What are your company policies and user agreement?
We verify that all massage therapists are certified and members of professional associations. When you book your massage using this website or telephone service, you agree to our company policies, cancellation policies and this user agreement. You agree to be respectful to all massage therapists. No violent behavior, inappropriate comments or sexual advances will be tolerated. Massage therapists will report these types of behaviors and appropriate action will be taken. You also agree not to contact the massage therapists directly to book your massages or for any other reasons, whether by SMS, email or via social networks. You agree to use our platform or the telephone service for all reservations and questions. You agree that in no case can Sensia Santé be held legally, morally or financially responsible for any/all behavior or comments made by any/all massage therapists. All the massage therapists we work with are self-employed and are not employees of Sensia Santé. You agree to indemnify and hold Sensia Santé harmless from any demand, loss, liability, claim or expense (including attorney's fees) made against you by third parties as a result of, or arising out of, or in connection with with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website. Sensia Santé reserves the right to no longer offer service to any customers who do not comply with our company policies, cancellation policies and this user agreement. We reserve the right to modify these conditions at our sole discretion.
